This page explains how norrlab.com uses cookies and similar technologies, in line with the EU ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR.
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember information such as your language choice or whether you accepted a banner.
We also use "similar technologies" such as localStorage and pixels, which fall under the same rules.
Strictly necessary. Required for the site to work — for example, remembering your language choice (norrlab_lang) and your brightness preference. These are set without consent under the ePrivacy Directive.
Analytics (optional). Used to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Only loaded after you give consent.
Marketing (optional). Used to measure the performance of campaigns. Only loaded after you give consent. We do not currently run third-party advertising cookies.
Where third parties are involved (for example a privacy-friendly analytics provider), they act as processors on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement. The list of active providers is kept up to date here as we add or remove tools.
You can change or withdraw consent at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer (where available) or by clearing cookies in your browser. Most browsers also let you block cookies entirely — note that strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function correctly.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
