We are NorrLab 

We saw a gap.

Before NorrLab, we had already spent years working with manufacturers and building configurators. We saw first hand how much easier a good configurator could make selling a complex product.

But we also saw something else.

You could have a great configurator, and still have people spending hours in spreadsheets. Engineers repeating calculations. Sales teams moving information between systems. Project managers chasing details. Orders being checked manually.

The configurator solved one part of the problem. Everything around it was still there.

And we understood why.

Most software is built to solve one particular problem. Configurators configure. ERP systems manage business processes. Engineering software handles engineering.

But manufacturing doesn't really work like that.

The work flows from one area to another, and some of the biggest opportunities sit right in between them.

That was the space we wanted to work in.

So in 2020, Oskar Haldemar and Gustav Adamsson founded NorrLab. We started with what we knew best: building configurator solutions for complex products. But the ambition was always bigger than the configurator itself.

We wanted to help manufacturers find the work that could be automated, simplified or connected, and then build the technology to make it happen.

Over time, that has taken us into engineering tools, AI, integrations and all sorts of problems we probably couldn't have predicted when we started.

Configurators are still a big part of what we do. But really, we just like finding complicated problems and figuring out how technology can make them simpler.

We are a small team. We are a little obsessed with technology. We like working closely with our customers. And we genuinely love what we do.

Different problems. Different technologies. Same idea: find a better way to do the work.
